I want to empower fellow designers and together redefine the way people connect with what they wear or use.
Since 2008, I have been working as a fashion designer. The first few years I worked as an employee, and since 2015, as a freelancer. But I’ve always felt something was missing – a deeper layer, a genuine connection with what I create.
In many cases, I worked for companies focused on maximizing product margins, following the latest trends, and outsourcing production to distant countries. Often, there was no real vision for who the consumer was or what the brand truly stood for. There was little understanding of why they offered any added value to an already oversaturated fashion landscape. Recently, more and more brands have been going bankrupt.

Honestly, and sadly, I feel that much of what I’ve designed could just as well never have existed at all.

I’m not alone; over the years, I’ve met many designers struggling with the same issue, many of whom eventually leave the field altogether. I also see that consumers have lost their connection with what they buy and wear – everything is easily purchased and quickly discarded.

It’s time for a change. I want to bring together a group of passionate, diverse designers to think about the future of fashion. How we can work together with consumers to create more meaningful, sustainable products. How we can strengthen the connection between people and the materials that surround them, so that less is discarded and consumption becomes more mindful.

Let’s use the power of design to create not only beautiful but also valuable and sustainable fashion. Do you also feel that things could be different? Send me a message and join us. Let’s reshape the fashion industry together – step by step, with purpose and impact.

The first brainstorm session will be held on the 14th of December 2024.
